Service and atmosphere WAS lovely, can’t deny that but the low stars are for the food itself. Honestly, the food was pretty underwhelming. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was heavily breaded with a peppery batter and then covered in a spicy mayo type sauce. It was cooked well, but there was just too much flavor and batter happening. It almost felt like we were eating fried chicken. The flavor of the calamari was lost in all the other competing flavors. My partner had the fillet. He ordered it medium rare, it was unfortunately over cooked and the meat itself just didn’t taste how it should for the price. Underwhelming, not bad, just not amazing. I ordered the special, scallops sambuca. The sauce was very tasty and the scallops were cooked very well. But again for the price…it was starved over linguine and we were disappointed that it wasn’t fresh pasta. That would have made the dish a 10. Again, it was a beautiful restaurant and service was fantastic. We had a reservation for 5:30, outside, seated right away and the restaurant was nice and quiet at this time. But for the price, we think the food could have been better.

Swung by Trisha’s while visiting Cape May. Just needed some appetizers to hold us over. The scallops and risotto was terrific. Perfect size for an appetizer! Perfectly cooked scallops. Terrifically made risotto. Good service, but a little slow (perhaps understaffed. Odd they only sold wine by the bottle and not by the glass. Been here once before and we recall it being terrific food and well presented.

From start to finish of our dining experience this evening was impeccable. We had a reservation and were seated front of the house, great view for people watching on the mall. We ordered Arancini for our appetizer…delicious. We ordered the seafood risotto and Halibut special for entrees…Both amazing. Homemade Pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Our server Deanna provided exemplary service! Thank you, can’t wait to return.

I wish this was a five star post because we heard nothing but wonderful things about this place. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive and I loved the atmosphere. The food tasted good, but I feel it could have been better. For example, the chefs special was their garden burger but with fried chicken. When it came out … it was literally two chicken tenders on a bun. And the fries were just generic. I know that’s a broad statement but I feel like if you have a truffle fries appetizers, the fries would be a little better quality.

Holy delicious. We made reservations and accidentally snarfed the arancini before I could snaf a photo. We brought wine to drink since it's BYOB. Appetizer: Arancini, not photographed because we inhaled it upon being placed on the table. Very tasty; crispy, creamy, with all the correct components. Dinner: Halibut special, Seafood Risotto... both delicious. I think the Seafood Risotto may have been a little better than the Halibut, but I would have been thrilled with either dish. Dessert: Bread Pudding, Chocolate Cake, Key Lime Pie -- bread pudding and chocolate cake were 10's, key lime pie was a 7 because it wasn't super tangy, but still ok 😀 Highly recommend this place, and no dress code worries needed.
